Pollution is either caused by humans, or it is natural, such as volcanoes and earthquakes.

A pollutant that humans make is plastics. Plastics contain Ethyl, which is a non-biodegradable , and this may cause cancer. So it must replace by materials that aren't harmful to humans and the environment, like glass and wood.
